Part One of Painting Siblings in Oil by the Coast

 Portrait Challenge - 1 of 2

     Decided to give portrait painting from a picture a try. When my kids were young we went to the beach and as they explored of course me, Mom, took snap shots. This was one of the Brother/Sister pictures I knew some day I'd attempt to paint in oil. In the video I initially show you the snapshot image.  From the image you can see that I changed the background to be a view of the ocean instead of the cliff.

Halloween Ghosts Are Hauntingly a Great"Boo Boo-ing" Cool Way To Create Fun! 

Every Halloween I make one NEW thing to add to my collection of frightful displays. This 2022 season I chose a ghost. My old piano needed something cool coming out of it, "ah, yes, a ghost would look very cool. There's a clip of it in action if you care to view and be frightened. 

     I give you the items I used to make it, 0:13 on the footage, so you can forward to that exact spot if you are in a rush.

    I had some fine flimsy material on hand, but cheese cloth does a good job in forming around the balloons and it's easy to find cheese cloth. 

    I like crocheting and wanted the eye's to pop out a bit, but using felt is a great alternative.
